The Swamp Kennels were established to provide solid hunting dogs with trainability,calm demeanor,and good temperament as hallmarks of the studs. | Introducing South Paw Vixen aka "Gonzo". He is a German Wirehaired Pointer. Age 2 years. He has been run in four tests with the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association. He recieved a perfect score 112 Prize 1 on his Natural Abitility test and a 187 Prize 1 on his first Utility test. He was only ten months old at the time making him the youngest Prize 1 Utility dog in NAVHDA history. He was run at the Invitational but missed becoming a VC by 1 point. He has since been run in his second Utility test and received a 198 prize 1. He will be run in the 2010 Invitational.

A special note: Gonzo's litter had five puppies in it. Four were run in the NAVHDA Natural Ability Test and all four received a 112 Prize I. This gave Gonzo's breeder a Natural Ability Breeders Award.

This is Swamp Thing Murdoch aka "Doc". He is a three year old Labrador that has been hunting since he was 4 months old. He has a stoic and quiet demeanor that makes him superb in a duck blind as well as on the training field. He will be run in his first AKC hunt tests this year. He is a dedicated and accomplished hunter with many dove, ducks, geese, grouse, and pheasant to his credit.

All Swamp dogs are registered with either the AKC or NAVHDA or both. Gonzo's hips have been checked using PennHIP. His left hip was a .31 and his right was a .24. For stud fees and other information you can email swampd@hcinet.net.
